Delete your Sylera account
This page is the public deletion path for Sylera, the collector network app. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone from the app.
Delete in the app
If you can still open Sylera on your phone:
- Open Sylera and sign in.
- Go to Settings.
- Under Account, tap Delete Account.
- Confirm twice. Sign-in stops working immediately after success.
Delete by email (if you cannot use the app)
Email support@sylera.co.il with the subject “Sylera account deletion”.
We may ask you to verify that you control the account (for example the phone number used to register). We will not delete someone else’s account on an unverified request.
What is deleted
When deletion completes, Sylera removes:
- Your private account (phone number, real name, email if stored, preferences)
- Your Firebase login
- Your profile photo files
- Vault (collections and lists), Watch list, and Chase cards
- Push device tokens and scanner usage counts
- Your notification inbox
- Your nickname reservation
- Discovery indexes that listed you as an owner or chaser
What is anonymized
- Your public profile is hidden and labeled Deleted collector. City, bio, photo, and similar public details are cleared.
- In chats you had with others, your nickname and photo are replaced so the other collector still has the conversation without your public identity.
What may be retained — and why
Not everything is erased. Limited records may stay because another collector, billing, or safety still needs them:
- Chat, deals, reviews, and vault shares — so the other person keeps their history. These keep the content of the exchange and user ids, not your public name or photo.
- Google Play / subscription records — accounting and to record that the account was deleted.
- Abuse reports and message evidence — fraud, security, and moderation.
Full detail is in the Privacy Policy.
